I'm saying this because over the past many people have asked me to finish my Eeveelutions, and here's the entire set for you, drawn to match... enticing, no? You should thank the commissioner for letting me put this up! (And to the commissioner, should you ever want me to take it down, I will do so in a heartbeat)

THIS, my friends, was definitely the biggest commission I've gotten so far, and it's not hard to see why. As a side note, I edited my entire commissions journal entry to specify in case I am asked to do something like this in the future, and yes, this did cost a lot more than 50 dollars.

Originally, the commissioner asked me to design him the Eevee set, with the Eeveelutions I already have (refer to gallery) and add on the ones I was missing, or that's what I gathered at least. My old ones are already outdated, as my style is always changing, and the Umbreon is a commission for someone else, so that wouldn't make for the best tattoo in my opinion. Also, in order to design a sleeve with elements that fit with each other, I wanted to redesign each character.

The design as a whole is intended to be a half sleeve tattoo, with Eevee at the ball of one shoulder, Glaceon/Flareon at the shoulder joint and collarbone, depending on which arm, and the rest semi-wrapping themselves down the arm. It will fit nicely, I made sure of that. So, Thanks for the challenge! There is definitely an added dimension to keep in mind when designing characters not only to fit a certain way on a body, but to fit with each other.

-Flareon-
Your standard flame tribal... This is actually version 2, because the first one I did looked too fierce/thick, and too much like an Arcanine. The ear is more blade-like to counterbalance the flame-everything else.

-Vaporeon-
The longest one in the set. The fins should look nautical, the body should flow like water. 'Dots' added to represent water droplets.

-Jolteon-
Surge. Especially in the mane. Also, note the stance. I didn't arrange the Eeveelutions in random order. Each was placed where it is now to fully utilize a pose that would match its character the most. For example, I could not imagine the Jolteon in a less energetic pose such as Flareon.

-Espeon-
I remembered the Gold/Silver days, when you had to maximize friendship during the day for Espeon and during the night for Umbreon. The sun was a big influence in this design. Also, to me Espeon is the most feline of the 8, thus the face.

-Umbreon-
Not a lot of white space, and that was done to counterbalance Espeon, like light and darkness. I imagined shadows. That's why though the design may look simple, it should also be striking and fluid.

-Leafeon-
Roots, leaves, life. Whereas for some of the others I did not put too much emphasis on the paws, this one has a lot of emphasis on the paws and forelimbs. Leafeon makes me want to just dig my hands into rich soil, and that's what I thought of when I designed this one.

-Glaceon-
Was completed 1-2 days after the rest were already done. For some reason I couldn't tribalize ice... But then I remembered snowflakes, which are legit tattoo designs on their own! And I added swirls here and there for a feeling of 'frostiness.' I know in actuality Glaceon's head ribbon things come off closer to the top of its head, but I didn't want to cut off the face like that and instead did that part with separate, wispy lines for the white space.

-Eevee-
The center of everything, of course. I especially wanted to show the ring of fur around its neck and the tuft on its head. Otherwise, there was no element attributed to it and it was designed with 'just make it look good and fit' in mind. Also, it couldn't be too flashy because if there was any element in it, it would detract from the others.

WHEW! Quite a mouthful, eh? I wrote all of the above so that, if you design tattoos, I hope this helps. I really love/respect Nature, and a project like this only goes to show the beauty and subtlety each element has to offer. When you want to turn something into an abstract design, think about the key elements, or what stands out the most... the intensity when you look at it, rigidness or softness, the pose and movement, etc.
