Here's an off-DeviantArt commission for Sammantha Benson.
Thanks for letting me post!

I am SO glad someone finally asked for a fire tribal because I've been dying to play with fire gradients (no pun intended, haha.). The commissioner was very specific about how she wanted this designed, so this was a fun challenge. I'm proud of this one.

I put it on a black background because I find it stunning how a simple background change can make something look so different.

Everything is so fluid with just enough of a touch of chaotic to really simulate real fire to me. I love the idea, how you outlined just enough of the face to show it off without clutter and the extra lick of flame beneath its front paw really wraps the tail in nicely. Wow, just... wow. :wow: Thanks so much for sharing this with us!

This is absolutely phenomenal. It keeps the design so you can see it with the way you played with the colors. Bravo.

Love the blend of colors rather than just one solid one. Also love how you did two different backgrounds. Both are very nice. Love the white background the most since it seems to be more defined than the black background.

What did you use to make this?

I drew it by hand first, then scanned it, then used the magic wand and gradient tool on some free paint program.
