My friend's dog: a goofy, derpy, young pitbull. Not the sharpest tool in the shed but so laid back and good natured that you just have to love him! He was rescued from a backyard breeder, emaciated and sick with Parvo... And now he's living the life of luxury
I KNOW RIGHT. I've been loving the breed more and more and would theoretically want one when I'm able to have another dog... But things like insurance and renting housing are impossible with this breed. It's a shame they have such an undeserving reputation. The pits I work with are mostly chained for their entire lives but they still LOVE people and are more tolerant of things (picking them up, touching them all over their bodies, etc) than many spoiled 'inside' dogs I've met.
Lol me too! When my friend brings over his pitbull we have to watch my CHIHUAHUAS because THEY get defensive! Ha! Yeah, I hate their reputation too. I love how in the move, Little Rascals, the star dog is a pitbull andthe director said, with all the kids on the set messing with it, it was the best breed to have. <3 Ikr! My friends pitbull is a rescue, she was tied up in the back yard even in 110* weather and was bred 3 times or so even though the vet said not to because she has a rare cancer that is only passed down mother to puppy.... stupid people.. but now she is the most loving dog ive ever met and is so ell poddytrained it surprises me! I swear, she holds it and waits to go outside! Too bad she only has a year left... stupid cancer!
