The pattern looks very nice. I can see what you mean about roughness though... but I'd mostly focus on the ear, since the lines around that seem the most obvious. Adding some darkness there might help eliminate that. The pale undercoat just has a textured appearance, so in my eyes that's acceptable roughness. Still, an impressive drawing. The coat especially looks silky smooth. And, from what I know of leopards, the depth of colour looks spot on.
